English Translation: Many thanks to Antje Penning from East Frisia for her diary entries about her experiences with the SWIT Dog Blanket and her dog Rocky.
Rocky has had a strong fear of noise throughout his life.
[…] Day 1)
After charging the batteries, I placed the mat on our Wauzi's evening spot for the first time - set the program to calm with 25% intensity, initially for 30 minutes. Rocky was lying on it, he was fine.
[…] DAY 4)
My husband is watching a horror film on the surround sound system, the dog is lying next to him on the mat that is switched on and sleeping... except for once, when it got a bit too loud even for me, the dog got up briefly and went to his place underneath Went to the table at the table and - oh wonder - came back after a few minutes, lay down on the mat and calmly fell asleep again, despite the surround sound being switched on (wouldn't have been possible before) […]
DAY 6 – 10)
Similar to the days before - only with the difference that Rocky now goes exploring alone in our garden during the day WITHOUT me (it was hardly conceivable before, he only went out when I was outside, when planes flew he immediately flew into the house) Even with good coaxing and treats it was hardly possible to keep him in the garden. Day 11)
The Bundeswehr uses Phantom Fighters to fly over the house for training purposes, the sound continues for minutes after... B program started, Rocky's trembling subsides after a few minutes (before it was always a good half hour before he calmed down again had)
[…] DAY 14 (today)
First of all, I should mention that Rocky, as a German Shepherd mix, gets problems with his stomach from time to time. […] It then takes about 1-2 hours after the administration of medication until the pain goes away and he feels better. TODAY there was another “attack” I would like to call it. […] After he vomited and I set the mat for him to calm down for an hour, he recovered within minutes and quickly relaxed without whimpering. I thought I couldn't see properly!!!! (and WITHOUT medication) I'm so glad that I'm on vacation at the moment and can see the progress first hand and I still can't believe how much this dog has changed for the better.
[…] For six long years the only way he had to survive the hated days before and during the New Year was by administering rescue drops (or globules). We always take him to quiet areas, wisely anticipating fewer fireworks, because he's just totally stressed out every time. This year the “HERO MATTE” will definitely accompany us and I am incredibly grateful for every single little success that I was able to experience through the blanket.
[…] If our dog could talk, he would say exactly the same thing…….Through neurobalance you give him a better quality of life and my husband and I have a great and new feeling in living together with our FEARFUL FOUR-LEGGED!!!!
I would like to thank you on behalf of my dog and my husband and I look forward to the little “miracles” of banishing fear every day! I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart
Rocky, Gerd
